The Story
At the heart of it all is Fabiana Liburd; designer, visionary and the electric force behind every piece she curates. Born in St. Kitts and raised in Canada, she built her foundation studying Business, Fashion Management, and Travel & Tourism, before the world became her classroom.

At the heart of it all is Fabiana Liburd; designer, visionary and the electric force behind every piece she curates. Born in St. Kitts and raised in Canada, she built her foundation studying Business, Fashion Management, and Travel & Tourism, before the world became her classroom.
Living and working across Denmark, England, Holland, and Greece, Fabiana developed a global eye for colour, texture, and style. Her natural beauty and infectious energy led her to modelling, but it was creation, not the camera, that truly called to her.
In 1998, she returned to the Caribbean with a clear vision and a passion for craft, by 2003 Why Knot was born, a brand as bold, warm, and unstoppable as the woman behind it. Stay tuned for whats next with Why Knot.
